Project Overview
Design for Change USA aimed to modernize their online presence with a responsive, resource-rich website. The redesign focused on clearly communicating the organization's mission, showcasing the results of the DFC FIDS method in education, enhancing lead generation, and providing seamless access to their educational portal app.
Role and Responsibilities
Led the UX design process, transforming DFC USA stakeholders' ideas and draft content into polished page designs. Responsibilities included creating advanced interactive prototypes and preparing all final assets for development, ensuring a cohesive user experience aligned with the organization's goals.
Process and Execution
Conducted meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements and align objectives.
Developed low-fidelity wireframes to lay out the basic structure of the website.
Designed custom icons and graphics while adhering to strict brand standards.
Created a high-fidelity interactive prototype in Adobe XD, offering stakeholders a detailed preview of the user experience.
Prepared final assets for export and established a design system library to maintain consistency across future developments.
Outcome and Impact
The redesigned website was successfully launched, meeting all the set objectives. It significantly increased website engagement, improved lead generation, and effectively communicated the organization's mission. Although the organization has since opted for a different direction with the website, the original redesign provided a strong foundation that continues to influence ongoing enhancements.
