Project Overview
In partnership with Design for Change USA and the Wayne-Westland Community School District, I developed a series of educator toolkits aimed at introducing K-12 students to environmental change topics through the Design for Change Methodology. The series included toolkits on Art & Environmental Equity, Erosion, Flooding, Green Spaces, and Physical Space Equity, designed to serve as comprehensive educational aids.
Role and Responsibilities
Led the design and development of five main toolkits and 20 sub-toolkits across various environmental themes, creating interactive activities with custom graphics to support educators in engaging and informative lesson delivery.
Process and Execution
Conducted extensive research to align the toolkits with educational goals and environmental topics, utilized Generative AI for custom imagery to enhance visual appeal, and designed user-friendly layouts with custom graphics, ensuring an interactive and impactful learning experience.
Outcome and Impact
Efficiently completed and delivered all 25 toolkits within 2-3 months, on time and under budget to Design for Change USA, enhancing the educational journey for K-12 students by providing resources that foster understanding and action on environmental change issues.
