Project Overview
The Prototype Q Pharmacy Kiosk project was designed specifically for senior citizen customers, focusing on creating a user-friendly touchscreen interface that simplifies complex pharmacy interactions. The initiative involved designing both low and high fidelity wireframes, flowcharts, and working prototypes to ensure an intuitive user experience while maintaining robust backend functionalities.
Role and Responsibilities
Led the design of user interactions and interfaces for a touchscreen pharmacy/health service kiosk platform.
Created detailed low and high fidelity wireframes, flowcharts, and working prototypes to refine the user experience.
Process and Execution
Conducted thorough research to understand the specific needs and limitations of senior citizen users, ensuring the design was accessible and easy to navigate.
Developed low fidelity wireframes to outline basic user flows and interactions, progressively refining these into high fidelity versions that detailed the complete user interface.
Created flowcharts to map out and visualize the complex interactions between the kiosk’s frontend and the pharmacy’s backend systems.
Constructed working prototypes to test usability, gather user feedback, and make iterative improvements.
Outcome and Impact
The project successfully delivered a touchscreen kiosk interface that was exceptionally user-friendly for senior citizens, enabling easy access to pharmacy services with minimal user effort. The interface effectively manages complex interactions with backend pharmacy systems, enhancing operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. This user-centric design approach has set a new standard for accessible pharmacy service technology.
